Tweak your operating system
With few basic steps you can free up your valuable hard disk space, defrag your memory, fix windows problems, make your pc, faster internet speed and run programs smoothly. Do these things to make your PC run faster,
Right click on “My computer” select “Properties.” Click “Advanced” tab and click “Settings” from Performance option. Select “Adjust for best performance” ~you can keep few options such as windows themes and style fonts. This will to to make your pc faster.

Go to “My computer” and right click on the system drive (c:/) now select Properties > Tools > Error checking > Check now. This will remove errors from your hard disk.
From the same dialog box, go to Defragmentation > Defragment now. This will speed up your hard disk.
Go to the “Start” menu and click on “All programs”, select “Startup” and delete programs that you don’t want to use on PC startup. This will speed up your system startup.
Free up your hard disk space
Go to the “Start” menu and select All programs > Accessories > System tools > Disk cleanup. Select system partition (c:/) and perform disk clean up. This will remove temp files and other un-wanted files from your system.
Go to “Add or remove programs” and remove un-used programs that you’re not using for a long time or un-wanted applications like games, toolbars, updaters etc.
